Terms of Use

Effective July 17, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Vidi Interactive, Inc. (“Vidi,” “we,” “us”) governing the Vidi mobile app and watchvidi.com (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Who can use Vidi

Vidi contains mature romantic themes and is for users 17 or older in the United States and 16 or older in the EU/UK (or the higher minimum age your local law requires). By using the Service you confirm you meet the age requirement and can form a binding contract.

2. Your account

You sign in with your Apple or Google account. You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure. One account per person; accounts are personal and non-transferable. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) — see the Privacy Policy for what deletion covers.

3. Your license to use the Service

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and stream content for your own private, non-commercial entertainment, on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s App Store rules. Content is licensed to stream, not sold or downloadable.

4. AI-generated content

Everything you watch on Vidi is generated by artificial intelligence. This matters, so plainly:

• All video, imagery, characters, stories, and voices are synthetic, created with AI video, image, and voice models from our own scripts and reference material.
• All characters and events are fictional. No real people are depicted. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is coincidental and unintended. Voices are synthetic and do not belong to real performers.
• AI-generated media can contain visual or audio imperfections. Content is provided for entertainment and does not depict real events.
• Content includes mature romantic themes intended for the age ratings above.

5. Coins

Coins are a virtual currency for unlocking episodes and features inside Vidi. Coins are not money: they have no cash value, can’t be redeemed, refunded, transferred, or resold, and can only be spent inside the Service. Coins purchased or earned are forfeited when your account is deleted or terminated. We may change coin pricing, earn rates, and what coins unlock; changes apply going forward and won’t strip coins you already hold. Purchases of coin packs are final except where the law or Apple’s refund policies provide otherwise.

6. Membership subscriptions

Vidi offers optional auto-renewing memberships (e.g., weekly, monthly, yearly) that unlock all episodes and remove ads while active. Pricing, periods, and any introductory offers are shown in the app before you buy. Key mechanics, all handled by Apple:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the new period starts. Introductory offers roll into the standard price unless canceled.
• Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).

7. Rewarded ads

You can optionally watch ads to earn coins. Rewards, limits, and availability may change, and ad fill isn’t guaranteed. We verify completed ad views server-side and may withhold or reverse coins from invalid, automated, or fraudulent ad activity.

8. Story choices

At decision points, your choice determines which episode plays next. Branches are served from a shared library: everyone who makes the same choice sees the same pre-generated episode. Choices are stored with your account to run your story but are never published or attributed to you. Choices are part of the entertainment experience and carry no real-world meaning or reward.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Record, download, screen-capture, redistribute, or publicly perform content from the Service, or circumvent (or try to circumvent) our content protection, signed URLs, paywall, or coin economy;
• Use bots, scripts, scraping, or automated access; probe or disrupt our systems; or reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app except where the law expressly permits;
• Defraud or abuse purchases, refunds, ads, promotions, or streak/reward mechanics, or misrepresent your age;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of App Store terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

10. Intellectual property

The Service and all its content — episodes, characters, stories, artwork, branding, and software — are owned by Vidi Interactive, Inc. or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the license in Section 3. If you send us feedback or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you. To report content you believe infringes your rights, email hello@watchvidi.com.

11. Changes to the Service and these Terms

Vidi is an evolving service: we may add, change, or remove content, features, coins mechanics, or pricing, and may modify or discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice of material changes where practicable). We may update these Terms; if changes are material, we’ll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

12. Termination

You can stop using Vidi or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your license ends and remaining coins are forfeited (except where the law requires otherwise). Sections that by their nature should survive — including 10 and 13–16 — survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIDI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR CONTENT WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIDI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50). Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Vidi harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence is unaffected. Before filing a claim, contact us at hello@watchvidi.com — most issues can be resolved informally. Courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes not resolved informally, except where your local law gives you the right to sue at home.

17. Apple App Store terms

These Terms are between you and Vidi only — not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content and has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support, handle warranty claims (to the maximum extent permitted by law, any warranty obligations beyond Apple refunding the purchase price are ours), or address claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual-property claims. You confirm you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use must also comply with the App Store’s Terms of Service.
